I had the pleasure of visiting New York in April – to those of you, who haven’t been to New York in the Spring – GO! It’s beautiful – okay, admitted I love New York anytime of the year.
I always try to get a treament the first day of my vacation in order to get un-jetlagged and really get the vaca-mode. I had found Langham Place online – and it just caught my eye straight away. Langham Place is a part of Leading Hotels of the World.
I’ve had some amazing facials at Ole Henriksen’s spa – even before I got into the spa business myself. Actually, it was in his spa during a treatment, that I decided myself to pursue my dream and become an esthetician. And let me also start by saying, that I’ve had A LOT of facials in my life – as a teen I had severe acne, so I have definitely tried a lot on that account.
Casa del Mar – a hotel right by the beach in Santa Monica – not far from Santa Monica Pier. The hotel has been around since the roaring 20’s and is one of the most beautiful places in Santa Monica, if you ask me. I’ve wanted to see the inside for quite some years now – and of course to test the spa.
