While LA is buzzing getting red carpet ready for Oscar’s – the big night in Hollywood – I’m this year unfortunately not going to be in LA, but will watch the show from my livingroom in Copenhagen.
I can’t help, but to think back about the fabulous spa’s in LA, where the stars would get Oscar’s ready. Esp. one comes to mind for me….Montage in Beverly Hills.
Come and let me take you there and re-live my meeting with Montage…
At Montage anything and everything is possible. The staff will make you feel right at home – as soon as you pull up outside the hotel, staff immediately greets you with a warm welcome.
The hotel is grand, beautiful, warm and personal. It embraces you and makes you feel right at home – from their afternoon tea, to Scarpetta, to the creative Kim Vo hair salon, to the amazing spa, the childcare room that makes a kindergarten wants to re-decorate, the personal shopper on staff that will pick up that Prada dress, you need for your big event, to….well, you name it! Montage has everything and can do everything your heart and mind desires. Rumor has it – there’s a VIP room somewhere in hotel – which is by invitation only – a bar so grand with expensive crystal glasses, rare whiskey and rare widens panels – that I immediately think back to old Hollywood in the 1920’s/1930’s.
The spa has 15-17 treatment rooms, a co-ed pool and a relaxing area. Also an area in for women and one for men with steam bath, whirl pool and sauna. Everything is easy on the eyes. The lounge areas are connected to the changing rooms with a lounge bar with fruit induced water, tea and fresh fruits.
This spa has the room and possibilities to host bigger receptions and their reception – and if that’s not big enough for you, they have a huuuuuge spa terrasse! Overlooking Beverly Hills naturally.
If you are not able to stay at this beautiful spot in Beverly Hills, you simply must not miss out on the opportunity to book a table for brunch at The Rooftop Grill. The view of the Hollywood Hills is stunning, calm and soothing for the soul – the food is….well, I have no words for it – out of this world extraordinary! And the service is beyond service….feast your eyes on this…..
So while preparing for my Oscar’s night at home on my couch in my apartment here in Copenhagen, I will daydream about a treatment at the amazing Montage followed by a brunch at The Rooftop Grill…because I’m sure, that’s what all the winners will be doing.
Oh a little show and tell here about their prizes….
